General Information & Pricing

The Museum is proud to offer a series of engaging, hands-on, curriculum based education programs. Every program offered at The Museum will include:

  1. A List of Curriculum Expectations covered by our Program

  2. A Pre-Visit Activity, to activate prior knowledge and introduce new concepts

  3. A Timeline for the Museum Visit, so you know what to expect when you arrive

  4. A Post Visit Activity that meets an Overall Expectation from the Ontario Curriculum

So bring your class to The Museum, extend their learning, and celebrate the imagination while experiencing art and technology at play!

Cost

Guided Program: $7.00 per student
Self-Guided Program: $5.00 per student (for groups of 10+ students)
Two guided programs: $10.00 per student
(all applicable taxes included)
All Teachers are free.
Supervisors within the leader ratio are free. For all additional supervisors, regular museum admission applies.

Payment is required upon arrival. We accept school cheques, credit card or cash.
Invoicing is also available upon request.

Class Trip Ratio

For the most enjoyable experience we recommend that for every group of eight children an adult supervisor be present; we are happy to admit these adults free of charge to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience. For JK/SK and grade 1 students we recommend for your enjoyment a ratio of one adult for every five children. Persons assisting special needs guests are also admitted free of charge.

Buses

Buses can pull up at our front door where you will find a special drop off and loading zone. To find out where buses can park, please call our Visitor Services Desk at (519) 749-9387.

Lunch

Food Service is available through the Museum Cafe. For more information and to pre-order for your class, please contact (519) 749-9387 ext. 233

Lunchrooms are also available if you prefer to bring your own lunch; please ask us about reserving one for you! Please be kind and leave anything with peanuts behind!

Special Needs

Our Museum is fully accessible to those with special needs. If you require any additional information or assistance, please call 519-749-9387 ext 233 during regular business hours and we would be happy to assist you. We also accept PAL cards.

After a personalized introduction by a Museum Interpreter, explore the Museum on your own!

Length of Program

Program lengths vary from 45 minutes to 120 minutes. The specific length of each program is listed with its description. Lengths will vary slightly depending on the participation and interaction of the students. Please also feel free to inquire about the length when you book a specific program.
