A New Level of Excellence

Since moving into the downtown Kitchener location and opening its doors in 2003 the Museum has experienced some growing pains, but is ultimately emerging as a jewel of Waterloo Region and Southern Ontario. With a vision that combines Art, Science and Technology, the Museum's recent successes include bringing world class exhibits, internationally renowned speakers and offering and exceptional level of education and public programming.

The Children's Museum is a not-for-profit charity and we must rely on enlightened people like you to help us reach our goals. This year's fundraising goal is $1,000,000.00 which will allow us to continue programs, exhibits and attract world-class special exhibits such as Jane Goodall's Discovering Chimpanzees, Dinosaurs Alive!, Andy Warhol's Factory 2009 and coming in January 2010, Our Body: The Universe Within.

Please take the time to make a donation right now. I am confident that you will find no greater value or fulfillment than partnering with the Children's Museum to help us awe, inspire and enlighten the children.

There are three easy ways to donate.

  1. Download and fax in the Donation Form to 519-749-8612
  2. Call us at 519-749-9387 extension 222 or 239
  3. Email us at Fundraising@TheChildrensMuseum.ca

In addition, there are other ways to get involved and work towards contributing to The Museum. Its overall success will be due in part the dedicated volunteers who participate on the Ambassador's Board as they will assist with the promotion of the Children's Museum in and around in the community.

Please contact Volunteer@TheChildrensMuseum.ca you are interested in participating.

Thank you for your time and please take a moment to introduce yourself the next time you are here.

Most sincerely,

David Marskell
Chief Executive Officer
