Kitchener, ON - In collaboration with the City of Kitchener's annual KidSpark event at Victoria Park, The Children's Museum will reach new heights of awe and inspiration!

On Saturday, August 18th, Museum staff and volunteers will be joined by at least 1500 adults and children from around the region to attempt to break a Guinness World Record TM. Participants will gather in a very large and carefully constructed circle and take part in what the Museum hopes will be the largest game ever of Duck, Duck, Goose.

The University of Guelph holds the record currently with a whopping 1,415 participants in Duck, Duck, Goose - a record they have held since September of 2005. They beat out the last record holders who gathered a meager 432 participants. Now The Children's Museum will attempt to hit the University of Guelph's record right out of the park by attracting at least 1500 participants to the event. If they succeed, they will hold the new and impressive record and will proudly display the names of all the participants in the Museum.

Participants hoping to have their names added to the official roster will need to pre-register beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18th at Victoria Park.
