Kitchener, ON. - Tomorrow evening, Kitchener's downtown core will come alive with good food, live music, high tech art and fall fashions at a fundraiser event co-hosted by The Children’s Museum and Inception clothing. Responses to date suggest a large turnout.

The inherent success of this fashion show will be due to the generous support by several enthusiastic partners and all proceeds from the event will be donated to The Children's Museum. The show will take place at The Museum on the recently constructed Urban Streetscape, which in itself is representative of community collaboration but is also an intimate, unique space ideal for performance.

The show will feature the fashions from the many designs offered by Inception for men and women. The show features weekend casual, business attire and formal evening wear. To help ensure the event's success, supporters have donated most everything from hair and makeup to floral arrangements to time and to heighten awareness, Matt Pepe and Steve Jensen of the Kitchener Rangers will join the show as first time models.

"The Urban Streetscape was developed as a space for community celebration and where people can creatively express themselves," explained David Marskell, the Museum's CEO. "The event is being marketed under our Museum After Dark banner and is the first of many events targeted to age groups not traditionally associated with the Museum."

"We have already received a tremendously positive response to this event," said Erin Young, co-owner of Inception. "People have been so willing to help make the event a success that we’ve been able to work with a number of partners from the Kitchener Rangers to Qatalyst Magazine to Soloi Studio Spa and House of Angels. It'ssuch a fun and unique way to raise awareness for us, The Museum and bring people back downtown after business hours."

Doors to the Museum open at 7:30 pm on Tuesday where the evening will begin with music and hor d'oevres. Following the runway show, a single performance by The Robotic Chair will conclude the evening at 9:00 pm.

Entrance to the show is by donation and all proceeds go directly to the Children's Museum.
